Zuid-Holland updates
Four pages in the Zuid-Holland section are updated with new pictures. These include a few Photoshop compositions, especially of the Grote Kerk in Den Haag and the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft, and to a lesser extent the Oude Kerk in Delft and the reformed church in Haastrecht.

Utrecht updates
Some updates to older pages in the province of Utrecht section. The page about the town of Oudewater has all new pictures plus one church added and is now about the eponymous municipality. The page about the reformed church or St. Michael (above)in Oudewater has several new pictures as well as some bigger and/or better versions of older pictures.
Much the same goes for the two big churches of Ijsselstein, the reformed church and the St. Nicolaas (right).

New Gelderland pages
It's yet another Monday update. Three new pages were added to the Gelderland section, a small (yet practically complete) page with five churches in the town of Doesburg and seperate pages for two of these, the Grote- or Martinikerk (picture) and the Gasthuiskerk.
De eerste nieuwe tweetalige pagina van 2020 gaat over de kerken van Doesburg.

Zutphen updated
With another Monday update, the third in succession, it might look as if weekly updates are back. That is not necessarily the case, but as long as I stick to updating older pages it's not that difficult. Here's another one, taking us back to Gelderland. The pages about the three medieval churches of the town of Zutphen, The Broederenkerk, the St. Walburgis and the St. Johannes de Doper, have all been updated with new and better pictures as well as some of my Photoshop antics like the one in this message. You may also notice an increase in the number of larger images.

Second update
Some more older pages have been improved with new pictures, this time in the Overijssel section. Three objects were added to the Deventer page and new pictures were added to the pages about that city's most important churches, the Bergkerk and the St. Lebuïnus.

First update of 2020
Happy new year to all of you! The first update of the year is here and takes us back to Limburg, with a slightly revised (one new object added, one picture replaced) page about Meerssen municipality and a much improved (some much better pictures) page about the Basilica of Meerssen.

The last updates of 2019
The last updates of 2019 take us back to the province of Limburg, more specifically the most beautiful city of the Netherlands, Maastricht. First, the page was split in two, with a second page now covering the churches in areas added to the city since 1920. The first page is now about the city center only, and seven objects were added to it while four older pictures were replaced. There's also an improved version of the page about St. Lambertus church (see picture), with better text and many new pictures. That is actually the third version of this page which in its first form originated from 2001 and was radically updated in 2005.
And so another year is coming to an end and as usual I like to conclude with some statistics. About the first I'm not so sure: was it Archimon's twentieth year, or its twenty-first? Anyway, it was a good year, with updates just about every two weeks. A total of twenty-eight new pages were added, nine about municipalities and nineteen about specific churches. No architects this year, and neither were there any older pages translated, but many pages were reviewed and given their share of new pictures and usually improved text.
On my trips this year I visited sixty-five towns and villages in six provinces and took 3480 pictures of 142 churches and chapels, of which 83 were new to me and many of which I have yet to add to this website, which had over 18000 pageviews by some 9500 visitors coming from 117 countries.
New updates are already being worked on but will not be published until 2020. I hope you will all join me again then.
